Bone Conduction

"During our tactical range evolutions, our shooters were able to respond to radio communications with each other and with the range instructors. The overall response was that they worked great. The advantage for the instructors to talk to each other during a course of fire was amazing, especially when critical evolutions were being performed. The instructors commented that even though they had no reason to stop or alert one another if a safety concern arose, they knew they could communicate above the gun fire if need be. The enhanced communications between instructors can only be viewed as an enhancement of overall range safety and performance, and the fact that officers can communicate during gun fire (even with hearing protection on) is a definite asset."

A revolutionary approach for clear communication!

theCobra microphone enables crystal clear speech in 100+ dB noise

Hearing and Safety

Bone conduction allows the user to hear clearly through vibrations to the temple. Allows the use of earplugs for maximum hearing protection.

Benefits of our passive noise Canceling technology

  • No processor required, so low power requirements.

  • Active noise Canceling technology relies on creating an anti-noise signal to cancel out the noise in a signal. Since there is inherent overlap in frequencies between speech and noise, this results in speech signals often being idetified as noise and vice versa. An observable consequence of this is distorted or garbled speech, and unsatisfactory noise cancellation. It Also requires a power supply (typically, additional battery).

  • Other electronic noise Canceling techniques use algorithms to identify noise from a digital signal and to filter it out using digital filters. These techniques are also frequency dependant, which results in the same problems mentioned above.
